Campeonato Nacional de Fundo (National Championships of long distance)

WJUV2X National Champions, all other crews reach podium. 

Melras, 22 of April 2001- The National Championships of long distance were cancelled for the original date (7-8 April). The regatta was re-scheduled for 21 and 22 april 2001. The race has been  held over a distance of 5km at the river Duoro near Melras. The results were good, everybody reached podium although one medal was 'stolen'.

Juvenile team:

• W2x (Dina and Raquel): GOLD

• M1x (Jo�o Franco): BRONZE

Junior team:

• M4x (Tiago Mendes, Ricardo Fran�a, Rui Rosa, Jo�o Pereira): SILVER (later disqualified, in our opinion for obscure reasons, but for us it remains the honour of 2nd place)

Senior team:

• M2x (Filipe Lopes and Miquel Leite): BRONZE

• ML4-, (Lu�s Lopes, Ricardo Carvalho, Ant�nio Moreira, Jo�o Fran�a): SILVER
